Not having any ideas at all... sucks!

So, this weekend was a rough one. My plans was to sit at home, chill out with a couple of beers and just relax.

Well, friday was ok, I had a pizza, a few beers and finally got to play SKATE 2, that was about all I did that night.

Saturday was supposed to be like friday, but hell no. Me and Irini was asked to join a few people to the movies, so we went and saw Twilight (not a bad movie actually). While the movie was playing, I was invited to two different parties. Also a friend tried to call me, I guess he was to invite me to another one, so make it three.

I decided to give two of them a call, and figure out some way to get them at one place. I wasn't really too excited about going drinking, as I had planned to chill out. Anyway, after I figured out who was having the parties I got kind of excited anyway.

So, we all ended up drinking, and at least me and a friend kept it going 'til almost 8 am sunday.

Sunday was kind of chill, got home to Irini around 3.30 pm, Rose was there, we all chilled out and Watched Pineapple Express (which is an EPIC movie).

So, that's the weekend for you.

Yeah, I knew you'd get that – I actually bought SKATE 2 on release, but didn't get to play it until Friday.

Many people say that SKATE 2 wasn't as good as it should be. I don't know, I really enjoy it. The only thing that bugged me was that it wasn't possible to go backwards when off the board, except when you were moving an object.

SKATE 2 is a great game, if you liked SKATE, you must get SKATE 2!

So, I kinda just wanted to do a blog article. I dunno why, but here it is. And it sucks, 'cause I don't know what to write.

I've started working out though, but more on that some other time.

Fuck it, I'm bored!

Holy Hell, it's winter. It's fucking cold outside, and that's a damn good reason to stay inside.

Today I am going to celebrate. I am going to celebrate that I'm moving back in with Irini. So, I'm going to get drunk with some friends and play World of Warcraft and whatnot.

I've gotten both good and bad news today. I'll take the bad news first:

Final Fantasy XIII has gotten the release date 2010. A year from now. And this kind of pisses me off. I've been a fan of the FF series since I tried it for the first time (Final Fantasy VII). I've been given 2009 as the release date since early 2008, and I've been waiting, waiting and waiting. And guess what? I'll have to wait another god damned year! Fuck!

Then I got the good news, Mafia 2 isn't to far away, and I saw the most awesome trailer ever. Best par was when a person (probably one of, if not the, man character(s) was in church and went to confess! As you know, it's “Forgive me Father, for I have sinned”, instead he said “Bless me Father, for I have sinned”. It isn't so funny when I write it, but sure as hell was when I saw the trailer.

Also I've found out that I'm buying Killzone 2! I've kept myself away from all the hype and read as little as I could about it, so this will be very exciting.

The Skate 2 demo is also out on the PSN for downloading, I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet, 'cause of the damn internet connection at home. I'll probably try it today though. Irini thought it was awesome.

So, this article was pretty much about games.

Today I've finally explored the possibilities of Google for the first time. It's actually kind of awesome. I've also found out stuff about Pidgin and shit, it's been kind of a happy day.

My writing skills are bad at the moment, so I won't bother you more (as if anyone's reading this).

GTA IV - Good or bad game?

I've just read on some norwegian news sites about the best game of the year 2008 etc. And GTA IV is on many lists there.

Then I read what people are saying in the comments.

“GTA IV sucks”, “GTA IV is more the worst game of the year than the best”, “GTA IV was to serious”, “I liked GTA SA because you could cock around and have fun!”, “I put away GTA IV halfway into the game, 'cause it was boring” (How did he know he was halfway anyway?), “The missions were okay, but after that it was dead boring”, “It's not possible to have fun in Liberty City for the third time”.

Do you know what my answer would be to those guys? Fuck you.

GTA IV was and is an excellent game. The graphics are nice, the gameplay is nice, the story is nice and the stuff you can do outside of stories are nice!

And what is this about “not having the possibility to cock around”? I for one love to walk up behind some old smug and shoot him/her in the leg and watch the person try to escape, and guess what… I shoot him/her in the other leg too. Now the person is lying there, still healthy but no possiblity to run - bring forth the shotgun!

And the cars - the controlling of the cars is genious imo. I love escaping the cops, I love e-braking around tight corners, I like driving through tight spaces between cars and I love jumping. And what is not fun about driving on the sidewalk and watch people fly in all directions and blood on your hood? I mean, I might sound psycho, but hell I think it's awesome!

And motorcycles - what's not fun about crashing in to a low car and fly hundreds of yards and bang your head into a brick wall? What's not fun about driving aroun on a motorcycle shooting people through car windows and watching the carns turn away from you just before you hit it?

And the missions - Ì loved the missions.

And getting drunk with friends, playing pool, darts, watching stand-up (hell I love Kat Williams).

Oh, and one of my favourite things to do - run in to the hospital and kill EVERYONE that sits in there and wait for the cops, just so you can stand behind a corner with a shotgun and kill them too!

There's a lot of stuff to do, and it's GREAT fun!

Oh, I almost forgot - getting drunk IRL while playing GTA IV is VERY fun!

So to all you who can say GTA IV is boring, too serious and don't have much to do - fuck you, over and over again.
